What is a Health Coach?
I am so glad you asked!
A Health Coach is so much more than you can imagine! As a coach I am here to help you through your journey of personal growth. This might sound silly to some and you may be asking yourself what that actually entails. The term "personal growth" may mean something different to each and every one of you. To help give you a little perspective, it focuses on the areas in your life that reflect back to you whether you’re in alignment with who you truly are, or not. Those areas are referred to as "The Big 5" and include:

5. Connection to Something Greater
These are the areas we tend to notice a daily struggle or feel stressed out in. You may look at this list and think to yourself, I only have trouble with 1 or 2 of those things so I'm in good shape! And while it may seem that way I want to leave you with a statement that truly changed the way I looked at my life.
How you do one thing is how you do everything.
Think about that statement for a moment, and I mean really think about it. There are certain things in our lives we tend to half-ass because we don't see them as important as something else. We don't see them as time sensitive or imperative to our well being. We are all guilty of this! I have woken up, feeling tired and uninspired, driving to a job that I hated, knowing I wasn't interested in giving 100% of myself to it. I worked off of commission but wasn't really interested in what I was selling. By not giving my all to my job, meant that I wasn't bringing in the pay check I needed, which meant I was stressed out and unhappy. In being stressed and unhappy, it took a toll on my relationship because I brought that unhappiness home and without realizing it would take it out on my boyfriend. I would feel so upset that I was taking my unhappiness out on him that I would binge eat to heal my emotions and had no energy to work out and to be honest, didn't want to. I felt so unconnected from my life and my purpose and every aspect of my life was taking a beating. So how I was doing in my career affected how I was doing everything, without me even realizing it!
So take a moment to think about each of these 5 areas in your life individually. Now put it all together and see if those 1 or 2 things that aren't going so great are affecting the other areas. You may not have noticed it before because it was never brought to your attention. As a coach, I am here to help you work through those pieces individually, ultimately bringing more balance and stability into the other areas that need attention.
I work with woman (of all ages), who need support and accountability in their lives to achieve balance within their health. My primary focus is helping woman who are struggling to find balance in their lives and feel as though the are constantly stressed or anxious. We work together to find habits that are currently driving you and what we can change for the better to achieve a healthier, happier you. We all want to be the best versions of ourselves, for our own well being and for those who are important in our lives.
